Friends of Captain Awkward

I was working on a post in the "I need help!" area, and apparently took too long putting my thoughts in order. When I went to submit it, I had to log in again, and when I went back to the previous page the content of my post was gone.
Is there a timer setting I can change to keep this from happening? If not, I'll compose my posts in Word from now on (insert Now You Know rainbow).

Oh no, how frustrating! I'm afraid that probably falls into 'not something we can fix easily', so yes, I would recommend writing longer posts elsewhere and copy and pasting.
