I haven't thoroughly thought out how this would work, because the idea of a reddit-oid upvote downvote makes me feel... icky but...

I'd love to have some way of conveying "Yes, this is good advice right here" without just posting "Yes this is good advice" I don't mind having my name attached to my support, I just don't want to waste thread space when I don't have anything to add except further agreement.

My sorority had "ditto fingers" where we would wiggle our fingers to voice our agreement with the speaker. What's the electronic equivalent?

Why do I want this? Because I think it's important to convey that a poster's advice is spot on. I know when I'm seeking advice, I like the hive-mind's approval of things. But, like I said, I haven't really figured out how (and have no code skills, so I don't know if it's possible)

I'm working on that! I've run into technical difficulties but it's an improvement that's coming. I didn't want to hold up opening the board for getting that to work, though.

But you will have something like a "thanks" button!
