There's an addon called Lazarus that has saved my tail on more than one occasion. It saves form inputs automatically and can reinput them with a right click.

If you use Firefox, there's an add-in called Lazarus that auto saves input. It isn't a forum-specific solution, but it could be a personal one. (There may be similar extensions in other browsers, I just don't know about them.)

I wouldn't want a formal strike system, because a lot of this stuff is embedded in colloquial language and it takes some doing to root it all out.
